The NYC Project is a vibrant workspace for freelancers working in the creative industry.
Housed in a former foundry, the office was designed by the Brooklyn-based interior design studio, The New Design Project. It’s a space for creatives to explore their niche and to excel in what they do.
I love the simplicity of this boardroom with the chandelier making a creative statement, but not taking too much away from the overall design.
The interior is simple yet unconventional. I love the use of black lacquer, marble, gold pieces and the natural wood. The materials flow effortlessly with the creativity.
“In creating this inspiring environment the designers turned to an eclectic mix of iconic items, to custom furniture designed by The New Design Project, as well as items that are the result of creative collaborations with other local Brooklyn designers” – Yatzer.com
This is my favourite! I love the dramatic lighting in the calm setting.
The New Design Project is known for using unconventional mixes of objects to reinvent exciting and original spaces. Their objective is to draw the attention to numerous focal points to create many unexpected moments within each individual space. I love the strategy!
