Terms + Conditions

Please take a few minutes to review these terms and conditions. Your use of our website and store/s indicates your acceptance of these terms and your agreement to follow and be bound by them. If you do not agree with any of these terms and conditions, do not use our site or store/s.

Cancelation
Any order for a standard stocked item can be cancelled within 24 hours of payment confirmation (but before dispatch). We do not accept cancellations for any manufactured or special import orders. No order can be cancelled once dispatched.

Methods of Payments
We only accept payment made via EFT. Regret no credit cards or cheques. Electronic payments take 2- 4 days to reflect into our bank account product will only be dispatched the following working day after payment receipt.

Deliveries
As an national online retailer we do not allow any collections - all items must be delivered. Robert Thomson.com has outsourced all delivery and collection arrangements. Accordingly, we shall not be liable for any damage suffered or loss incurred by reason of any acts or omissions of the deliverer, its directors, employees, sub-contractors, agents, and representatives. We will only make delivery to site if products can fit into lifts, staircases or through doors. Ensure that the place of delivery is accessible and you have cleared the area for the product prior to delivery together with moving all breakable objects that could be in the way of the delivery team. We do not give waybill numbers to our clients. Any following up on a delivery must be done through us and not directly with the courier company.

Lead Times
The delivery lead time quoted to you at the time of order is our best estimate of the delivery date. Whilst every effort is made at all times to achieve this date, it does happen from time to time that delays are encountered that are outside of our control. We will make every effort to expedite delayed lead times and will make every effort to ensure the customer is updated on the progress of the order.

Flawed product, Returns and Refunds
The person receiving the items will be required to sign a POD/Delivery note indicating that each item has been received in good condition. Robert Thomson.com cannot be held liable for any damages that were not indicated on the POD/Delivery note at time of delivery. Please allow time on delivery in order to inspect as the product is taken out of its packaging. All merchandise sold by Robert Thomson.com is subject to stringent quality control standards. Should the product/s be flawed on delivery (and we are notified on the POD/Delivery note), we will endeavor to repair or replace the item in question. All valid claims are subject to assessment by our staff and decisions made are at the discretion of Robert Thomson.com management. If we are unable to repair or replace the flawed item within 30 days a full refund will be applicable. We do not accept returned goods under any other circumstances.

Advertising and Promotions
We may photograph all our products, including customized pieces and installations. These can be used at our discretion for advertising or press use.
